count the kicks and healthy birthday
Emma Kate Creations gets its name from my daughter, Emma Kate, who was born in 2001 and died after just 8 days of life. In her memory I have had the privilege of co-fouding Healthy Birth Day, along with four other moms who also lost infant daughters. Our organization is dedicated to providing advocacy, education, and support with regard to stillbirth and infant death.
Count the Kicks in a public awareness campaign started by our organization and dedicated to educating pregnant women as to the importance of counting their baby's movements daily during the third trimester of pregnancy. It is our goal to reduce the stillbirth rate, which occurs in one out of every 150 pregnancies nationwide. Visit the Count the Kicks website and pass the word along!
